Terms of Service for GenX3D Robot Sweatshop

  1. Introduction Welcome to GenX3DRobotSweatshop.com (the “Site”). GenX3D Robot Sweatshop (“we”, “us”, or “our”) operates a 3D printing service offering custom parts and products. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Site and the Services (defined below). By accessing or using the Site or Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or Services.
  2. Definitions
  • “Services” means the online platform and related services we provide, including but not limited to: order placement, project quoting, file uploads for 3D printing, manufacturing, fulfillment, and related support.
  • “User” or “you” means any person or entity that uses the Site or Services.
  • “Customer Content” means any files, designs, descriptions, or other content you provide to us in relation to a project.
  • “IP Rights” means all intellectual property rights in your Customer Content and in the final printed items, subject to the terms below.
  1. Account Registration and Security
  • Some features require creating an account. You must provide accurate, current, and complete information and keep your credentials confidential.
  • You are responsible for all activity conducted through your account. Notify us of any unauthorized use or security breach.
  1. Orders and Quotations
  • How to place an order: Complete the order form, upload required files, specify materials, finishes, tolerances, quantities, timelines, and delivery method.
  • Quotation validity: Quotes are valid for the period stated in the quote and may be subject to change if specifications change.
  • Acceptance: An order is accepted when we confirm via email or through the Site. We may decline or cancel orders for reasons including but not limited to non-conforming files, safety concerns, or inability to source materials.
  1. Payment Terms
  • Pricing: All prices are in the currency stated on the Site and are exclusive of taxes unless otherwise noted.
  • Payment methods: We accept the payment methods listed at checkout. Payment details are handled by our PCI-compliant payment processors.
  • Invoicing and late payments: Invoices are due on the date specified in the invoice. Late payments may incur interest or suspension of production.
  • Taxes: You are responsible for applicable taxes unless we are required to collect them.
  1. Product and Project Specifications
  • File requirements: Acceptable file types, size limits, and any preprocessing steps (e.g., watertight models, manifold issues). We may audit files for quality, safety, and manufacturability.
  • IP and ownership: Unless otherwise agreed in writing, you retain ownership of your Customer Content. We may use your files solely for the purpose of manufacturing your order and for quality control, unless you authorize broader use or provide express IP licenses.
  • Prototyping and revisions: Policies on revisions, tolerances, and iterative prototypes, including any additional fees.
  1. Manufacturing, Quality, and Risk
  • Manufacturing process: We will manufacture and assemble as described in the order. Any deviations due to material shortages or manufacturing constraints will be communicated.
  • Quality control: Our standard QC checks apply. If you receive defective items, you must notify us within the timeframe stated in the warranty section to be eligible for remediation.
  • Safety and compliance: You must provide safe, lawful designs and comply with all applicable laws. You are responsible for ensuring that Customer Content does not infringe third-party rights or violate laws.
  1. Delivery and Acceptance
  • Delivery terms: Methods, carriers, estimated delivery times, and risk of loss pass to you upon shipment.
  • Acceptance: You must inspect items upon receipt and report any issues within the timeframe specified in the warranty policy.
  1. Intellectual Property
  • Your IP: You retain IP rights to your Customer Content unless you grant us rights as part of the order.
  • Our IP: We retain ownership of our own tools, processes, software, and any pre-existing IP.
  • Licenses: If you provide designs, you may grant us a license to use those designs solely for fulfilling your order and related services. Any other use requires your explicit consent.
  • Restrictions: You shall not copy, reverse engineer, or modify our proprietary materials or processes, except as allowed by applicable law.
  1. Privacy
  • Our privacy practices are described in our Privacy Policy. By using the Site and Services, you consent to our collection, use, and sharing of your information as described there.
  1. Warranties and Disclaimers
  • To the extent permitted by law, we provide the Services “as is” and without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
  • We warrant that we will perform the Services with reasonable care and skill.
  • Exclusions: We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from harmful components, or that delivered products will meet all expectations or regulatory requirements beyond stated specifications.
  1. Limitation of Liability
  • To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services is limited to the amount paid by you for the order giving rise to the claim, or a flat amount if no payment was made.
